Young Voices 2026

Wednesday 4th February 2026 was a very special day for the Dairy Meadow school choir, we took part in our second Young Voices competition. 

Miss Nessa and her band of 38 amazing choristers put on their dancing shoes and boogied all the way to Wembley Arena. Alongside 5000 other singers, representing nearly 100 schools, we sang, grooved and harmonised to an expectant audience of parents and famous musicians. 

My personal highlight was the sea shanty medley and the goosebump inducing version of Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked.

A massive well done to all the children involved. Special mention to Miss Nessa, Mr Cardozo, Mrs Uppal, Anita and Gabby who made the trip possible.
