Dairy Meadow Primary and Nursery School

Year 3 visited Paradise Fields

Year 3 visited Paradise Fields as part of our learning at Dairy Meadow Primary & Nursery. Children explored the site with curiosity and enthusiasm, learning how the natural world supports healthy habitats and why conservation matters. Staff supported pupils to ask thoughtful questions and make careful observations, linking what they saw to classroom learning.

During the visit, pupils took part in hands-on activities that strengthened their understanding of science in the real world. They discussed how living things interact with their environment and considered practical ways to protect local wildlife through conservation. The day helped pupils build confidence, vocabulary and teamwork, while reinforcing the importance of caring for the places we all share.

A big 'Thank You' must go to Oscar and the Beaver Trust for organising the workshops and site visit. Who knew that so much nature was on our doorstep?
