Y3 Visit the Natural History Museum
On Monday 24th March 2025, our young palaeontologists in Year 3 set off to the Natural History Museum.
The children had a fantastic time exploring various zones of the museum. They especially enjoyed the Dinosaurs Gallery where they saw part of the first Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton ever discovered.
Another highlight was looking up at the huge blue whale model suspended from the ceiling and discovering new facts about mammals. The best part had to be standing on the earthquake simulator and feeling what it was like during the 1995 Kobe, Japan earthquake.
All in all, it was a fantastic and memorable trip and a great enrichment experience for our Year 3 children. The Year 3 team would love to say a big thank you again to our amazing parent helpers for assisting us on the trip!
