Wordcraft Launch Assembly!

We have so many awesome things happening in the Dairy Meadow family at the moment that it takes something truly special to make everyone's jaws drop! However, that is exactly what happened on Thursday 2nd May 2024 when we had a star studded Poetry Spin to commence our Wordcraft Project.

The Wordcraft project will mainly be conducted in Year 4 and will see our young poets and orators develop a sense of understanding about themselves and their place in the world via the power of the spoken word. To kick things off, three skilled children's poets; Gecko, Deseree and BREIS, came to perform for our children.

These performances were energetic and inspiring and we are really looking forward to working alongside BREIS- our residential poet in Year 4.
