The CO2 crew visit Dairy Meadow

Tuesday 24th September 2024 saw Dairy Meadow have a visit from Emily Evans from Bonanza Creative. Emily was here to share a whole school assembly and conduct some workshops all about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.

With more and more building work going up in Southall, its really important that our children are aware about some of the dangers that are associated with gas appliances. Emily advised all our children to get a carbon monoxide alarm as well as how to identify healthy flames (blue coloured) and unhealthy flames (orange and droopy). 

It was lovely to have Emily back and hope she will return soon to reinforce her message to other year groups.
