Nursery chicks have hatched!

Nursery chicks have hatched! Our little chicks have burst out of their eggs and into the world, and the whole school is buzzing like a tiny feathered disco. The children have been learning about chicks, their lifecycles, and how amazing it is that something so small can grow into a real bird right before our eyes.

From peeping eggs to fluffy beginners, we’ve been watching their lifecycles unfold and learning what they need to stay healthy—warmth, food, and plenty of gentle attention (no squeaky “chick interrupts” allowed!). Thank you for supporting your child’s curiosity at Dairy Meadow Primary & Nursery—because when the chicks hatched, it’s not just the eggs that open… it’s their imaginations too!
