Elm Class Visit Airlinks Golf

On Thursday 6th March 2025, Elm Class visited Airlinks Golf to try a new sport that many of our young Tiger Woods have never been exposed to.

Only a short bus ride away from Southall Green, Airlinks is an 18 hole golf links with clubhouse that all members of the Dairy Meadow family are welcome to visit. We practised our skills on the driving range and Arshpreet managed to hit a 150 yarder! On the putting green Alyna was deadly, sinking each put with devastating accuracy.

Not only did we manage to enrich the PE curriculum, but Airlinks is on the site of the old Heston Airport. This was the site of Neville Chamberlain's famous 'appeasement' speech in 1938. Our children also received a snapshot into local history.
