Carbon Monoxide Workshops for Year 2 and Year 5

On Thursday 21st May and Friday 22nd May, Dairy Meadow Primary & Nursery ran Carbon Monoxide Workshops for Year 2 and Year 5, alongside Bonanza Creative.

Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas that you can’t see, hear, touch smell, or taste—so it’s really important to learn what to watch for at home. During the workshop, Annalea explained why some alarms can help, and practised simple safety checks with our young scientists. We also learned to recognise the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning and what to do if we think we're at risk!

We're proud here at Dairy Meadow to go the extra mile to keep our children safe.
