Architecture Club 25/26 - Session 2.

This week in Architecture Club, Year 6 learnt about Sir John Soane's inspirations particularly about his travels around Italy. They explored buildings in different countries: Italy, Sweden, Japan and the Middle East. This helped the children identify how each country adapts its building to their climate. 

The children then created a mood board and will use this to support their mini projects next week. 

Avaani stated that "we learnt how different countries have different designs, not only because of the climate but also to show their uniqueness."

Japjit says "Building on from last week, we looked at materials and noticed how different countries use different materials and textures because of the weather."
