Dairy Meadow Primary and Nursery School

Curriculum

At Dairy Meadow we pride ourselves on ensuring our pupils receive a broad and deep knowledge rich curriculum in which they can see themselves as successful learners. Our curriculum is designed to promote curiosity and allow mastery. All of our lessons try to build cumulatively on previous knowledge and our learning opportunities are reflective of real world implications. Through a strong programme of enrichment we aim to allow all children to see the actual knowledge and skills in action.

Remote Learning:

In the unlikely event of another lockdown work will be posted for each year group via Microsoft Teams. Videos and teaching resources will be uploaded online and we will endeavour to stick as closely as possible to the usual school timetable. Children will be able to converse with their adults through a chat function and work, with feedback, will be handed back to the children upon completion. All children will also have access to our learning platforms: Purple Mash; TT Rockstars; Maths.co.uk and Bug Club to supplement their learning.

The school can also facilitate the loan of learning devices if a child does not have access to a laptop or Ipad. Please note that these are usually capped at one per family. If you require this service or have any other questions about remote learning, please arrange a meeting with Mr Feldman through the school office.
